# How to import your Home Inspection Pro (HIP) template into ScribeWare

Importing your Home Inspector Pro templates into ScribeWare will allow you to carry over the language and report structure you already know.  Some fine-tuning will still be necessary to take advantage of all the great features ScribeWare offers, but we'll help you get a head start on the transition!

### Windows

1. Press `Win+R` to open the run dialog
2. Copy and paste the following path, and click OK.    *Be sure to include the quotes!*\
   \&#xNAN;**"C:\Program Files (x86)\Home Inspector Pro\Data"**

3. Email <support@getscribeware.com> with the TPZ file(s) corresponding to the templates you'd like to carry over!&#x20;

### MacOS

1. Open a Finder window
2. Press `Shift+Cmd+G` to open the "Go to folder" dialog
3. Copy and paste the following and select the folder:\
   \~**/Documents/Home Inspector Pro/Data**
