# How to import your HomeGauge templates into ScribeWare

Former HomeGauge users, you're in for a treat!   ScribeWare is a feature-rich, modern version of what you're already used to, and best of all, *we won't sell your data!*

We can import your existing HomeGuage templates and libraries.   Some cleanup and customization will be necessary, but it will help ease your transition.    Here are the steps to follow:

1. **Find your template files.**   These are stored under Documents\HomeGauge\Templates:

2. **Email us** at <support@getscribeware.com>, and attach any templates you want to import.   We'll follow up when the import is complete!
